My favourite eggs royal in Dublin
I wanted to try somewhere new for brunch over the weekend so I asked on my Instagram story if anyone had any recommendations and so many of you came back to me with some amazing restaurants, which made it quite difficult to choose.
Since I'm going to be moving away in the next few months I'm very eager so try as many restaurants as I can before I leave Dublin.
One restaurant that really caught my attention was HQ Gastro Bar in Grand Canal Square (thanks @heyrose.ie for the recommendation!). One of my top tips for finding places to eat is look at the tagged photos of the restaurant on Instagram as these are mostly customer photos. This always helps me decide what I want to order too.
First of all the staff are really friendly and so helpful with recommendations on what to order. The interior is also fab, especially downstairs! I loved how the bathrooms are painted pink too. But honestly it's all about the food.
The French toast with caramelized banana and Nutella was incredible and the eggs royale was the nicest I've ever had, in my life. I honestly can't say one bad thing about it. I've never had prawns with eggs royale it was a real game changer. It was one of the those meals you just didn't want to end.
I will definitely be coming back here again and hopefully I'll get the change to try it for dinner before I leave Dublin.
