The Instagrammer's Paradise - Elan Cafe, LDN

Elan Cafe, where do I begin. This London cafe is blowing up the Instagram feed more and more everyday. I spoke with the manager who told me they opened in August just gone and opened a second one just 3 months later!!

I knew when I booked my flights to London that it would be top of my list. I never thought I’d have to wait 20 minutes in the rain for a table, on a Monday afternoon but it was absolutely worth it.

The key to their success is very obvious. Similar to Peggy Porchen it has the most beautiful, pastel, floral decor - it is 'Instagram paradise'. I visited the cafe on Park Lane as I preferred the menu more here. The cafe itself it quite small and filled with bloggers, vloggers, and foodies getting that perfect picture.

I went with my friend Lorna and when we walked downstairs we were delighted to see we got the best table in the cafe. Seated against the floral wall and bold neon light reading “Coffee is the new black”.

This table is definitely the highlight of the whole cafe so we had to get used to people constantly taking pictures of the wall beside us, which was slightly annoying but I understand because I would be doing the same.

Overall, the food was incredible, small portions but very tasty. The desserts are out of this world so of course we had to get three, no more cake for me for a very long time.

It’s a must if you’re visiting London, all you need is patience for a table (Unfortunately you can’t reserve).

TO EAT - eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the desserts but the red velvet was the best I’ve ever had.

TO DRINK - flat white (coffee art on another level)

Top Tip - apparently 10am is the less busier time according to the manager but it is always busy.
