Pieces I won't part with for 2018
I am not afraid to admit that I am one of the biggest hoarders in Ireland.
I find letting go of clothes way too difficult and that is why you will always see repetition in my looks.
I love trends but I always feel most comfortable in something that is truly my style. Over the past few years I've held on to some staple pieces. The following pieces will definitely be carried into 2018. I've tried to link similar items to pieces that are no longer available. I hope you like this post!
1. Boyfriend Denim Jacket ..Literally
I wear this all year round. Go for one that's baggy then you have all the space to layer up in Winter. Plus, I much prefer an oversized fit so maybe it's better to buy from the mens section.

2. Tartan Trousers
I bought these trousers when I went on a city break to Madrid last year. I don't care if these are in fashion or not, these are one of my favourite purchases of the year. I'm obsessed with anything high-waisted so I feel like these were made for me. I love mixing patterns so these are the perfect addition to clash with everything in my wardrobe.

3. Faux Fur Coat
Believe it or not this faux fur coat is my mums from the 90's. The main reason I wear this all the time is because it's genuinely the warmest coat I have, it is absolutely essential to have a faux fur coat for our frosty Irish winters.
I feel like theres been so many retailers this season who've been killing the faux fur game and at really affordable prices. I know i'll be seeing my coat for another few AW seasons but I have my eye on one from The Design Studio.

4. The 'Perfect' bodysuit
I had a picture on my phone of a girl from Pinterest with the most amazing criss-cross bodysuit and over the past few months I've been trying to find something similar but couldn't so you can imagine my face when my sister gave me this bodysuit for Christmas. It's from one of my favourite brands, Brandy Melville.
I just think bodysuits are so versatile, especially this one. So far I've worn it with denims, leather skirt, tailored trousers, and I think it will look great in summer with baggy denim shorts.

5. Silk Scarves
Silk scarves have always been a favourite accessory of mine. In summer I like to wear them as tops and winter around my neck, they are SO versatile.
The thing I like about them is that they looks so expensive, half of my scarves were bought for less than 5 euro in vintage stores. Plus, this means that there's less of a chance of seeing someone else wearing the same one as you!

6. SUNGLASSES
Sunglasses are my guilty pleasure, I'm almost certain I have an addiction to buying them. I love all style, designer, vintage, oversized and undersized. My favourite is definitely cat-eye and the more dramatic the better!
I think sunglasses can really bring an outfit to the next level, they are a definite statement piece.

7. The Patent Boot
I had a pair from Topshop for last year and this year I got a similar pair from Louis Vuitton which I have been wearing non-stop since I got them.
Patent boots are my go-to in winter, I prefer boots that have a low cut (to make my legs look longer) and of course a high heel (also to make my legs look longer).

8. HATS ON!
This is my favourite trend from 2017. I can't believe I never worn hats until last year, and its not just one style that I like, I genuinely love them all, beret, bucket, fedora, baseball, baker boy - ALL styles!
I've purchased the majority of mine in vintage stores, not only are they bargains but you'll find styles that no one else will have and its always nice to have something different especially when its such a huge trend.
