The Colour of The Year

I am so excited about the colour of the year for 2017. Last year for the first time ever we had two colours, Rose Quartz and Serenity, both soft and feminine.

This year is different, and yes i'm extremely biased as us Leos and Irish are very attracted to green so without further delay, The Colour of the Year is GREENERY.

How could you not love it? It's fresh, it's vibrant and it goes with just about everything whether it's Winter or Summer.

So with this in mind myself and my friend and MUA, Shane Chubb decided to do a collaboration.

I got this dress from Folkster, it's from a brand called Cotton Candy LA. I find it so hard to find a dress that actually suits me because: A, I don't like them too tight or short as it's uncomfortable and does nothing for me and B, I look like an ironing board in the cleavage area (if you haven't already noticed).

I love how this dress is loose but is still flattering and gives shape to my body. Also i'm obsessed with anything backless. I would always go for something backless over something revealing in the front

The main thing, obviously is the colour. I've always had a thing for green, so as you can imagine this year i'll be in my element, feeding my shopping addiction with everything green.

Green and gold go hand in hand, so I styled the dress with gold accessories and Shane chose gold with the eye makeup. I'll put a link up to Shane's tutorial for this look below or click the photo below. He's extremely talented and so easy to work with, so make sure to check it out!
