Taking Advantage of My Days Off
Working in retail means working a lot of weekends and sometimes having your days off spread out during the week. To be honest, I don't really mind this, it's something i've gotten used to.
I'm quite an organised person and I love making plans so finding something to do on my days off is never difficult. Like everyone I love food, so usually my days are based around trying out new places or indulging in some of my favourites spots (future blogpost). I also have a slight shopping addiction so you can imagine how the rest of the day is spent.
However when i'm tired I like to do absolutely nothing and lounge around in my pjs, watching endless amounts of reality TV, stalking bloggers, and eating rubbish.
Of course being in retail I have to wear a uniform. This means, on days off I like to take complete advantage of my outfits. I love to dress up, even if it's just for coffee and a little catch up with friends. Sure who knows when coffee could turn into a few drinks? - it's called being prepared.
My favourite retailer on the high street is definitely Zara. At least one piece of my outfit is guaranteed to be Zara.
I am definitely the most insensible person when it comes to dressing appropriately for the weather. I'll always carry a heavy scarf with me just to make up for the light jackets I wear.
I like to layer my jewellery, especially when I wear unbuttoned shirts. I can be a bit picky when it comes to jewellery, gold is definitely my go to, but recently i've tried to be a bit more open minded with different styles. As you can see, sunglasses are used as a hairband, sure what else would you need them for in Ireland?
I bought this red lippy in MAC the other day (Ruby Woo). I think a little bit of colour is needed when you're going for a monochrome look.
